Oddly Enough
Oddly Enough,
Oddly Enough, life has been a switcheroo dance..
Born into a world tinged with betrayer and bitterness.
Scorned for the inability of others, shamed by poverty and bullied by circumstances.
Harassed and buffeted by life's travails, peer pressures and societal expectations.
Defeated by a mindset conditioned by sown twisted speeches inspired by ignorance, envy, jealousy and hate.
The future was a vicious circle when imagined...
So I feared.
Then the Truth came in the guise of the Word, inflaming the heart.
Piercing through the debris of shame, scorn, and betrayer.
Igniting the hope incubated in the core hidden under the scars of life.
That core that housed man's ability to hope regardless of how dire the situation faced.
From which a voice whispers, "you are worthy, deserving and of value".
Casting off the doubts, the fear and the shame, I triumphed.
Prevailing in all circumstances by the application of the Word.
Rebuking all thoughts that would try and cast me in the role of the "fearful and defeated".
Skillfully navigating life’s path with the floodlights of knowledge...
Oddly enough, I REIGNED!
P.S: Knowing who you are, is the only spring board to greatness! Find yourself in the words of the Creator and oddly enough you will prevail.

That Feeling Of Uselessness.
That feeling of uselessness is that which you feel when you see your loved ones hurting and you are powerless to stop, change or take that grief upon yourself.
That feeling of uselessness is what you feel, when you watch with a sense of incredibility the forces of nature overwhelm man’s will, technologies and structures.
That feeling of uselessness is that which you feel when you’ve given your best but find out it isn’t enough.
That feeling of uselessness is what every human feels watching death sting loved ones or innocents.
That feeling of uselessness is what the righteous man feels every time evil triumph over good or the wicked prospers.
That feeling of uselessness is what the romantic feels when his/her rose tinted glasses is wrenched away and shattered by the harsh realities of unrequited, unwanted, underserved or rejected love.
That feeling of uselessness is the bane of man’s abilities and mortality, causing one to question the very essence of life and living.
That feeling of uselessness is the cause of every broken dream, mind or spirit in the world man inhibits.
Isn’t it amazing that from this feeling of uselessness, mental, spiritual, financial and physical giants are born and formed?
Isn’t it funny that from this feeling of uselessness, the seeds of immortality and limitless abilities is gleaned and then realized?
It is a known fact that from that feeling of uselessness, comes the strength to push/pull through the darkest nights of a man’s life to his glorious dawn.
When you’ve hit rock bottom remember that the only way to go is UP!

Failed Promises.
"Promises are only as strong as the person who gives them" Stephen Richards.
How true the above statement is.
A huge chunk of promises made everyday are broken. No wonder many are hurting in the world today. Nothing can prepare you for the pain. Nevertheless you can overcome.
The way we respond to failed promises is more important than the fact that a promise has not been kept.
The right mental attitude.
To have very high expectations for something whether persons, institutions or outcomes, without the thought that something could go 'differently' can be a set up for heartbreak and disappointment.
It's wise to be moderate and realistic about our expectations of people or outcomes. It's also wise to be supportive and responsible to those who have made promises to us.
Jesus Christ is the only one that is incapable of making a failed Promise.
Are you heartbroken as a result of a failed promise? It's time to move on.It's time to heal.Jesus can make you whole again.Through His Word and the ministry of the Holy Spirit you can be happy again. Only believe and accept Him today into your heart..ask Him to help you and He will, because He loves you.

Don't Say " I Love You."
"Don't say 'I love you.' Say more, Put you heart to paper."
So says the theme of this year's Hallmark Valentine's campaign, as they seek to "recapture" the essence of these three powerful words "I love you".
Apparently, they have put together a collection of short films of real couples who have been married for that long and asked them to describe what they liked most about their partners without making use of the words "I Love You."
Some shed tears, hugged tighter, looked deeply into each others eyes as they listened to it all....it's so inspiring, and we get to see how important those seemingly "unimportant things" that we do become what actually binds us together and make all the difference between success and failure in our relationships.
Enjoy this beautiful ode of love and do the right thing this Valentine.

Hang In There.
When I have hard times, is when I drink like one so thirsty from the wells of life found in the Word of God.
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.(Mattew 11:28).
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.(2Corinthians 2:14).
These scriptures help to center me and give me the will and strength to continue my walk. Its the yeast in me and it causes me to rise above every situation.
God loves you and He reaches out to you right where you are, do your part by letting Him help you.Decide for Jesus today.

Omotiny Inspires!: Daily Affirmations
Monday, 25 August 2014
Daily Bullets.
In other words, these statements or affirmations do not reflect your present situation. They are more concerned with the creation of a future that is consistent with the future you want to see. They are statements made in faith and through the faith principle are equipped with power to cause your desired change.
I like to call them faith filled words or proclamations.
For your affirmations to be effective, they have to spoken in faith. God cannot respond to you without faith.
Affirmations have to be spoken out loud to youself.
Affirmations have to be spoken regularly.
Affirm yourself everyday. Speak positive to yourself, speak what you want to see and stay with it. Dont let certain unpleasant situations that show up around you deter you.
You are on your way to a super life I tell you.
Cheers.

Inner Conflict.
Here in the beautiful city of madrid, its bright and sunny and I feel great! I'm really hoping it's the same for you but never mind the weather, what I have for you today is sure to help one way or the other.
Recently, I realised I have been embroiled in an Inner Conflict, which is basically when you find yourself struggling with emotional or mental obstacles....I found myself in a struggle between doing what I "ought" to do and what I truly wanted to do.
It was quite frustrating at first because I couldn't shake off this vague feeling that something was wrong, I was constantly agitated and couldn't immediately pinpoint the problem maybe due to a lack of attention...subsequently, subconsciously I tried to suppress the unease which made me feel much worse.
Anyway, thankfully, after careful self examination, I was able to trace my discomfort to some issues that needed to be addressed in my life, which was...Continuing in a situation that was no longer acceptable to me. Now the big fat question was, what do I do now?
Well, in resolving inner conflict, we too often opt for the "safe" or "politically correct" way out, paying no mind to our core needs and truest values. This shouldn't be. In times like this, what we need is summon the courage to act in synchrony with what we truly believe. The reward, almost instant relief, comfort, clarity, vitality and expansion and even exhilaration.
Finally, don't be shy to ask for help from tested and trusted sources around you. I recommend asking help from The Holy Spirit, its not difficult, just go ahead and ask Him in faith and you will feel the peace His presence always brings, nudging you in the way that's best for you.
So, inner conflicts are not as dreadful as we sometimes tend to feel they are after all, once we embrace them they can actually be a way forward to a more fulfilling life. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have been inspired today.

Shoe Explosion.
Its been a while...yes I know. A lot of other work has nearly diverted my attention from this great platform but am glad to be back now and am ready to share all the wonderful moments that have happened to me
You know how irresistible a great pair of shoes can be, so you won't blame me for my itchy fingers when it comes to buying fabulous shoes. Guess what?... Recently I nearly had a "shoe explosion", which is when you have so many shoes and you either dont have enough storage for them or you lack organisational skills to keep those shoes from becoming a nightmare for you.

Tasty Bites kitchen Etiquettes.
Hello friends,
Today we are talking Kitchen Etiquettes. The non-negociable things you must think and do as you prepare meals both for your family and for your guests.Having being in this business for some time now, we would like to share with you our best thoughts on the matter.
CLEAN CONSCIOUSNESS: This is our first golden rule. Do what you can to ensure your counters and cooking areas are clean. Your faucets, wooden boards and utensils, surfaces of kitchen appliances and every other thing in your kitchen should be kept clean and bacterial free.Use anti bacteria sprays, hot soapy water, clean towels as wipes etc.Use hair net or cap to cover hair to prevent hairs from getting into your meals, wear comfortable clothes. If you must use the rest room while cooking, ensure you wash your hands with soap properly for about 30-40 seconds.
THINK TEMPERATURE:This is a very important aspect of food safety. Different foods are safe to eat or properly cooked at different temperatures, e.g white meat is safe to eat after it reaches 170 degrees, this is different for red meat which must get to 180 degrees before it becomes edible. Also your cooling systems must be maintained at proper temperatures in order to ensure your foods are preserved well.
A good kitchen investment you can make is to get a meat thermometer. It helps a great deal.
CHECK DATES: Another big one! Always check the dates on your food items to see if they are still within the best before dates. If its expired toss it in the bin. Dont try to smell or taste to tell if its still ok to use, your senses are not sufficient monitors, so toss it.
PROPER SERVING: When you are serving, take care to keep cold foods as chilled and hot foods hot; lukewarm is not the goal. Try not to leave any food, whether hot or cold out any longer than two hours. If you have any leftovers, they should be consumed or tossed within three days.
ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS: It always helps to keep your kitchen organised. No matter the space you have the idea is to organise and optimise it for optimal results.Place appliances, condiments, cutlerys, utensils in the best spots where you can easily reach them, where you dont have things toppling over as you move around, where you dont get fatigued as you cook. This will keep you very happy.

Lovely June.
Hello guys,
Welcome to the beautiful month of June! Are you as excited as I am?..well you should be because we are going on a roller coaster ride with lots of inspiring posts, breathtaking videos, quotes, pictures and everything lovely you can think of. Thanks for your visits to my blog and thanks for all your comments. As always to inspire is why we are here and this month is not going to be different.
Today I bring three lovely poems about the beautiful gay month of June.
Enjoy!
IF NOT FOR JUNE
If not for June,
My memories of Winter in December...
With a wish to witness,
The freshness of Spring March would bring...
Would not still remain so vivid.
As if only yesterday visited.
If not for June.
If not for June,
My eyesight would not be teased...
By the freedom felt in Summer,
With hopes that linger of those things I could do,
Under clear skies showing bright Sun.
And seeing the fun shared by nearly everyone,
If not for June.
And if not for June I would not be able to reminisce,
From so many experiences I could pick.
June seems to be the month I can do this.
With a thankfulness I am still in the midst,
Of a year that appears to have just begun.
With so much left to offer before it is done.
And for me this happens only when June comes.
MY LOVELY JUNE
O come sweet June, my lovely June
The month when first the roses bloom -
A wondrous, colourful display
By sunlight kissed throughout the day,
So chasing all my cares away.
And fixed above, the starry bull,
Glittering there, so beautiful,
Adorning thus the northern skies
Whene'er the dazzling daylight dies -
‘Tis like a glimpse of Paradise.
Then climbing high in heav'ns expanse
The sun ascends, to so enhance
The splendour that is all around.
O June, fair June, wherein abound
The seasons gifts, which full surround,
With flower petals soft unfurled
And vines around the trellis curled.
The grass is sweet and richly green
With shining luminescent sheen -
Your face, my June, a beauteous scene.
Carnations flourish through the years
Bursting forth from Mary's tears,
And Honeysuckle-scented air,
No other fragrance does compare -
I seek to ever tarry there.
O June, dear June, for you I wait -
My longing ever shall abate
When you recur with all your grace
To lift my heart and light my face,
And thus my soul to full embrace.
Such pure delight, all heaven sent,
O June, my June, you bring content.
‘Tis you for whom I ever yearn,
Awaiting thus your prized return -
O June, my lovely June sojourn.
THE MONTH OF JUNE.
In the month of June
I composed a melodic tune
Ahead of time before the clocks struck noon
Later at night I waited to sing it out in full moon
June is the smell of sweet fresh roses
A beautiful rosy sixth month it exposes
And with the sweetness of each day
The sky clouds smile brightful and gay
Good Afternoon, My little summer butterflies
In June we can play where yellow meadows lie
We can observe little rivers flow into lagoons
And the mellifluent wildlife retreat into cocoons
And if love where to blossom it will do so quite soon
Because there is something about the month of June
As the longest daylight hours a year balloon
All marriage hopes are not left marooned
June is a beautiful month to sing
And listen to loud wedding bells ring
In this long awaited summer month
The mood of happiness is all June fronts
