Would You Snoop?

Recently I came across a really interesting show on tv..and the hot discussion was.....would you snoop through your partners stuffs if you suspected he was cheating?...so today am gonna give you my take on this and why?. 

Before I let the cat out, Let me tell you some of the opinions shared on the show. Some ladies were like..snooping is bad, and if you feel the urge to regularly check out your partners stuffs, whether you suspected anything or not, you might actually be the problem, cos your feelings of insecurity and distrust might lead you to imagine infidelity where there might not be any. So their advise was 'don't go snooping cos' since you are on the search you will definitely find something...real or imagined.' 

Another group were of the opinion that even though they did not subscribe to snooping for snooping sakes or snooping as a hobby,they would snoop if they really suspected something was going on just as confirmation,since a cheating partner may not readily confirm he or she is cheating.

While some just felt..snooping is a necessity and should be seen as one, especially as life on the 'boy girl' scene these days is very cut-throat and complicated..they feel to be one step ahead and in order to protect by all reasonable means what is theirs they need the snooping technique.lol.

Well well, as for me, I would snoop but not so much as for confirmation cos' most likely I would know because I have The Witness in me, Who lets me know stuffs. So the snooping would be to know what type of affair it was, the extent to which the affair had gone, and to know with whom. Armed with these and some, I would be able to proceed wisely. 

Nevertheless, I must say this, there is a higher way. To all the ladies out there, you will be a whole lot happier with your partner, with your life, and with yourself if you don't snoop at all. The thing with snooping is..it may expose you to things you or your marriage or relationship may not be able to handle at the time. Its fertile ground for distrust and arguments that just sucks the joy and laughter out of both parties. For us ladies you know how it is when you actually find 'something' from snooping..you may never remain the same again.lol. 

Sometimes we may not get the whole picture, may not understand everything, but if we entrust our relationships or marriages and essentially our lives into the hands of God,we will reap the rewards of having trusted God...remember He is all wise and there's nothing He can't handle.

The Loyal Heart.

Loyalty is a word that I have been in love with for so long now...anytime the word crosses my mind, I remember how it was growing up with my four sisters, my brother and my mother. The ceaseless chatter, the bickering, the fights, the headache of division of chores..infact you could say it was chaotic some of the time..but in all, the love that bonded us together was unbelievable. The way our mother brought us up was to be loyal above all to each other. We were one unit all the time...even when we were not all living under the same roof, we were always one.

Have you experienced that feeling of knowing someone is loyal to you...whether good or bad you've got that person's support and that support is complete,constant and unswerving..the feeling is heaven.

Do you have people you are loyal to...say, to your family, your beliefs, a cause or to your friends.

The thing about loyalty is, it is inspired in our hearts towards something or someone because of a deep or vital knowledge about that person or thing. That knowledge comes through communication,transparency and trueness. When people know you for real and trust you and that knowledge of you makes them comfortable...before you know it...you begin to see them demonstrating loyalty to you.

Dont be like those people who trust no one,love no one,believe in no one, like no one..
Dont be like that....be somebody. Be deep, be loyal to your family, be loyal to your church, be true, be transparent....have no skeletons in your cupboard, live, love and laugh simply.
Life is a lot more fun when we are that way!.

Mistakes.

Hello people,

Isnt it amazing that with all the knowledge we have acquired whether through our parents, teachers, books, church, on the streets etc, about life and living right, about good and evil and heaven and hell, that sometimes, if not too many, we still make Mistakes??

The truly surprising thing is that often times these mistakes are so foolish they are just unbelievable..we ourselves are disappointed by our actions,our families and friends are disappointed and even God isn't too pleased.

The thing about mistakes is..they are expensive and some mistakes could lead to loosing everything we have so labored for...not to talk of the palpable fear it brings into our hearts, take for instance a teenage girl who "went with the flow" and had unprotected sex with some guy she met and right after the act begins to sweat as all the implications of what just happened hits her...she knew she could get into real trouble but somehow she did it anyway, all that knowledge  was...just head knowledge.

The examples are everywhere...funny how fast a day can turn from sunny blue and bright to dark and dreary because of one mistake and you wish you had NEVER EVER done it. 

Well friends, mistakes do happen and after the deed has been done life must continue...the good thing about mistakes however is that they help us put a lot of things in perspective,we begin to truly scrutinize our selves and our values and do a better job of living up to our expectations and God's expectations of us..funny enough many of us are the better for it.

Learn from everything including your mistakes....and pray that God will help you through the rough times..because He Will..thats part of His Ministry in our lives...fixing people and fixing things for our good.

Forever Alive!

Forever alive...these words drifted into my consciousness one evening as I sat down folding some clothes I had washed, I sampled the words in my mind, rare combination I thought to myself, could one be forever alive?, has anyone been described as forever alive?...alive where?....,in our hearts? on the earth?..funny.

If I wanted to be forever alive...what could I do, what would I need?..as I perused my mind a thought lit up in my heart...oh!..yes of course, it was possible to be forever alive...I see it now, not so rare now that understanding has come....

There are many who are forever alive, for us, they never die, for us they live on forever.

These are the people who through their lives have gifted us with what 'words cannot express', they have inspired us and significantly affected us in more ways than one. This they did through their work, their words,their lives.....and for some, simply through the fact that they lived and once walked amongst us.

Leave a candle burning for posterity....You can!.

In My Dreams...

Once, as I slept I had a dream...I was atop a flight of stairs..as I looked around, I saw that the stairs flowed downwards, like a cascading river, to form a podium below.Then, I lifted up my eyes and saw the people..so many people, cheering, I looked at their faces, there was awe, admiration, love on their faces...all of it, then suddenly,their words came to me.. I heard them, words they were seemingly mouthing to me...it was like a chant!

Sing for us!!, dance for us!!...touch us!!

And I thought to myself....me???

Bewildered I looked around,there was none other than me, they wanted me, called for me, it was like they needed me..and the more I resisted and shrank backwards the louder the crowd as they called out, reaching with arms outstretched.

Then He said to me...Go!, the people need you.

And I responded." Yes, indeed, they do"

This was my moment!!.... I began to glide down in a gown that shined brighter than a million stars, picked up the mic and opened my mouth...

"Wake up mummy!!!....I need to use the bathroom!!" ...It was my son.lol.

Ever felt this way?...that you've got something to give but somehow that confidence you need just isnt there? Well, this is the push you need today. What you have is unique and only you can give it. Determine to share with the world today, you never know who will be touched and transformed by it.

I Want!

Hey Guyz,

Its another glorious day,and here I am thinking how difficult sometimes it is to actually pursue our dreams and desires for our lives. Yes...we want this things so bad, yet sadly, wanting something so bad is not enough to make it happen. Wishing most earnestly for it wont get it any closer except we become a certain way,do certain things and think certain ways. The list is long but I have picked out three that summarizes it all.

Discipline.
Hard work.
A 'I can do mentality'.

Foremost we need to become disciplined. Say for example you decide to run a blog, you need to be consistent in your postings, you need to keep driving traffic to your webpage,you need to be on the move always getting new stuffs to keep the blog fresh,alive and interesting and you need to do this everyday..now without discipline you cannot achieve this but the good news is that from now you can start to lead a disciplined life.

Discipline leads me to my second point which is hard work....to be disciplined is hard work, you got to push yourself, there are days you're not going to feel like getting out of bed but you got to, its a daily fight to win yourself. Every dream will be brought to reality through handwork which entails consistency in taking that step in the direction of your dream everyday.

Last but certainly not the least is the 'I can do mentality'...that mindset that refuses to give up even when all the odds are mounted high against you,the 'no retreat no surrender' attitude towards your goal. You need an inexhaustible doze of this because you will sure need it. A great source for this is the bible..getting acquainted with truths in the word of God and appropriating it for your life and work.

Hey guyz,

You know, one thing I have observed is how some people are their very own worst enemies.
They so beat up themselves on any and everything that its no wonder they are the unhappy bunch they are...complaining about how things would have been better if they had that  and if they had this.

Well, you got to stop building these mental roadblocks...and start believing in yourself because there's  not one person that hasn't been given something with which he can bless the world and improve his life. Stop the complaining and open yourself to positivity,exposure and knowledge.

Your destiny is in your hands today...choose to live,get involved in that which is good for man and for God and watch your life go from where it is today to that next and higher level.
