Value what you have and people will respect you, let your heart pump, let it beat every time you think about how valuable you are and how unique what you have is...you are the only one who can do what you do the way you do it...think about that for a minute.

Without confidence in yourself you can't  do new things...you will remain only in your comfort zone, you will not breakout and break even for the next level...when you start to add value to yourself people will notice, they may not all applaud you but one thing is for sure... they will all begin to  respond in the new direction of things. So hold yourself tall, raise your head and begin your new walk to the life you well deserve. Hey, Its called Packaging. Lol.

My Response.

Once, I was with a group of friends or should I call them acquaintances. The thing is we belong in the same circle therefore have certain activities and interests in common.

Anyway, one day, as we mingled around after one of our reunions...a dear brother said to me in the presence of some others..."oh you are such an inspiration to me...etc, very nice words of how meeting me as a person has influenced him positively"...I replied, "oh, thank you very much"  and I smiled kindly at him but one of those present seemed to think I should have been more effusive and joyous about the comments I had just received and asked me.."is that all you are going to say?...just thank you".

Well, firstly, to have someone say to you that you have affected them positively, and that you are such an inspiration to them is a big deal any day..even if it was a joke.lol...but even at that I wasn't ready to "flip over". You see, overtime I have learnt that people spoke based on their emotions, and because emotions varied from time to time you may just be treading on slippery grounds if you 'flipped' every time they said something nice to you. What happens on the day they say stuff about you that you don't  like, stuff you don't  exactly agree with..what are you going to do?..."flip" too?

What am getting at is, We ought to respond with knowledge to the stimuli around us and not just react proportionally to whatever situations throw at us. A poet once wrote that "if you can meet with triumph and disaster and treat those two impostors just the same...then you'll be a man. He called triumph and disaster impostors and thought they should be treated the same because what ultimately matters is you, how you are going to respond, your attitude, the way you will handle the situation and eventually what is going to become of you as a result.

Settle it in your heart that you are someone special, worthy of respect and who deserves to be treated right. Walk accordingly while reciprocating this same attitude to all those you meet and it wont matter what situations throw at you...You will live happy.

What we do for love.

  

Hey friends,

With all the buzz last week about the upcoming valentines day celebration..am guessing you sure had a great weekend. 

Tell me, where you among those that did the last minute rush to pick up that super red hot dress (or was it the lingerie?),

did you dash into the mall to get that perfume or flowers,or did you surf the internet all day trying to find those perfect words that will make his heart melt? better still, did you labour all afternoon in the kitchen putting together that favorite meal of his that would put that wide grin on his face?    

Whatever you did, If you put that much effort to make valentines perfect for you and your loved one(s) you sure deserve to be applauded. I for one, subscribe to taking that extra time to celebrate and show appreciation and say I LOVE YOU  to those that are so dear to us because as we all know, life happens, we may not always seize the opportunities that come our way everyday to show them how much they really mean to us but a day like valentines delivers that opportunity on a platter of gold that we cant miss...and isn't it beautiful to give appreciation and love and also be a recipient of it...divine! Lol.

Now that valentines day is come and gone...lets not loose the bliss, the smiles, joys and laughter it brought to us...continue to show appreciation and TALK love to your loved ones..they deserve to know they are special just as you are special. 

Just in case your valentines day didn't quite turn out right...never mind, a rose is still a rose, you are special, you are loved. Don't stop sowing seeds of love in those around you..you will reap a harvest soon.

Y'hello people,

Today, allow me to wonder aloud....What is it about the 'best' that just makes some people wanna pee in their pants. Did you know that there are people who are afraid of  that term 'the best'...funny right ?, they just want to run away or disappear anytime the term comes up.

Oh! Madam, here is a list of the three best schools in town, top quality, top notch, they are absolutely 'the best'.

Reply..." Oh! Really, wow, nice...well actually I was looking for something a bit more on the..you know...you know what I mean..(sheepish smile) a bit more kind of friendly on the purse....smiles.

Why did you not inquire what made those schools the best, what were they doing that the others didn't do, how much exactly were their charges, what paying options were available etc.

You see, this attitude is a thing of the mind, its a result of our mindset..the way we think which may have been formed by many things before now, but the good news is that we can change the way we reason especially when we have found a more excellent way.

Be bold and think the best...Go for the best ( even at your level), its for you and you deserve it..you may not be able to afford the best today but if you start right now to think the best..you will be positioning yourself for the very best in life. Remember a quality decision is the beginning to a quality life.

Hey guyz,

Have you been around those people that like to treat you like you are nothing, they try to make you feel you are of no value. Sometimes these people could even be family or valued friends or respected members in your community. Well, don't make too big a deal about  them...why ?...because we will always have them around.lol.

The thing to do is NEVER take on their perspective of you. You are full of value and worthy of respect. Have you ever considered that God is crazy in love with you? Think about it, you are so unique that you are the only one of you that will ever show up on this good earth..and you are all He has and will ever have. This is a simple truth...just accept it simply and don't try analyze away its beauty and substance.

Amazingly...so many people out there love you too and think you are of great value..but no matter how many of us love you this way...it will never make much sense if you don't  believe for yourself, that you are lovable and of great value. So I say to you today..Give yourself a break and lay down the weights and start today to see how truly beautiful you are. You are of great value and worthy of respect.

Hey guyz!

Am so excited! today I'll be bringing you my favourite collection of chic office wear for the ladies! Guys, hey now, you can take a look too, for that special one. Wink.lol.

Am doing this because, as much as we need all the improvements in our attitudes, relationships etc, we still need to look after our image, afterall its what represents us to the world. We must bring out that beautiful person on the inside for all the world to admire and the way to, is by the way you dress. Be sure people are going to judge you by the way you dress, so the earlier we get it right...the happier we are.

Hello guyz,

As I walked down Paseo de la Castellana in Madrid's city center this  morning on my way to meet a friend for a possible job interview, I just couldn't help but wonder how much more a man can bear. 

Everywhere I turned I could see some man or woman with a face I call 'Blank', meaning you couldn't exactly tell from looking at them whether they were happy or excited, instead you could easily read preoccupied, worried, fear, in a hurry  and late on their faces.

People live with a lot everyday, they worry about all sorts of external issues at work and all, they have to deal with family issues and as if that is not enough, they have to contend with emotional weights as well.

So today, lets just give ourselves a break....a break from all the worrying, all the pains and fears and everything. Take a minute to just be, stop calculating, planning, organizing things in your head...just breathe..calm down and take deep breaths for a minute. A minute for you, every now and then, will do you, a world of good.

Hey guyz!

Have you observed that when you try to be 'somebody'...thats when people and situations try to tell you that you are nothing. They tell you we have always known you, you cant be more than you are, more than what you used to be, same people who were perfectly happy with you when you lived with the status quo.

Well, the more people get mad at you for trying to be more, the more you should just go at what you want to be. You know how some people just get mad at you for even thinking yourself something...funny right? they try to make you see all the reasons why you cant be more. Well their observations may be correct...no problem about that , work on your self, improve yourself, begin to research and find out how you can be better. Be so good that they will be forced to change their minds...yes, cos' they will, when eventually you turn out a success.

Don't  despise the days of your little beginnings, there are different phases in life....you may be small now..but you are getting there....remember the best revenge is Success...so don't let nobody get you down and don't quit becoming the best of you, everyday.

Hey buddies!,

Today, lets take out time to remember all the beautiful people called friends  life has brought our way. How they made us laugh even in the most difficult of situations, how they shared our best times with us, how they were our partners in many crimes and how they supported and encouraged us to be our best.

Recently, on my old students association group on fb, someone started a discussion to see how many names of your former classmates you could remember..and it was fun! As the names came in, I travelled down memory lane to back in the days when we would all eagerly wait for the dinning bell, how we did punishments for our seniors,how we gathered for prep class in the night, the social nights which was explosive..etc.lol

The whole experience was refreshing, made me laugh and made me realise that even though some friends we had yesterday are not here with us today..they remain special in our hearts. Afterall they were all we had, all we knew yesterday and would have remained with us today, if not for the dynamics of life.

So today, make an effort to give a shout out to all your friends  past and present..for sharing your journey through the years..they made life much more worthwhile.
